The International Internet Olympiad in Informatics was held at the oil and gas university of Turkmenistan

The 4th International Open Internet Olympiad in Informatics was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas from April 15 to 16.

According to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age," 793 students from 57 universities in 16 countries participated in the Olympiad, including Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, Germany, Romania, Malaysia, Georgia, Türkiye, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, and Libya.

Following the Olympiad's opening ceremony, students began completing individual assignments on topics such as algorithmic programming, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

Students from the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, and the Oguz han University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan won prizes from Turkmenistan.

Prizes were also awarded to foreign participants from the K.I. Satpayev National Research Technical University (Kazakhstan), Bukhara State University (Uzbekistan), Euphrosyne of Polotsk Polotsk State University (Belarus), and others.

The winners and runners-up were awarded first, second, and third-place diplomas.

The Olympiad has been successfully held by the university for the fourth year in a row and serves as an effective platform for identifying talented and capable young people.
