The Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan reported on the weather conditions expected in the country's regions this week. The forecast was published in today's issue of the Turkmenistan newspaper.
Ashgabat is expected to see partly cloudy skies, with rain forecast for the beginning and end of the week. Winds will shift from northwest to southeast, with speeds ranging from 10–13 to 14–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 20°C to 26°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 28°C to 39°C.
The Balkan velayat is also forecast for partly cloudy skies with precipitation at the beginning and end of the week. Northwesterly and southeasterly winds will increase to 12–17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 17°C to 26°C, with daytime highs of 34°C to 39°C; in coastal areas of the region, daytime highs will range from 29°C to 34°C.
In the Ahal velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with rain expected early and late in the week. Wind speeds will reach 12–17 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 18°C to 27°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 26°C to 40°C.
In the Mary velayat, partly cloudy skies are expected, with precipitation expected primarily early in the week. Northwesterly and easterly winds will reach 11–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 18°C to 26°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 30°C to 39°C.
The Lebap velayat is expected to see partly cloudy skies with light rain at the beginning of the week. Wind speeds will reach 11–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 17°C to 26°C, and daytime highs will reach 30°C to 40°C.
The Dashoguz velayat is expected to see partly cloudy skies with precipitation at the beginning and end of the week. Northwesterly and southeasterly winds will reach 11–16 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from 15°C to 25°C, and daytime highs will range from 26°C to 37°C.
